Robert Barman, age 89 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away March 11, 2026 at Hawthorn Glen nursing home. He was born on June 9, 1936 to Albert and Margaret Barman in Zeeland, Michigan. He married Mae Barman on March 17, 1996. Between ATL Truck Lines, Cissel and Dura Crete, he drove truck for 40 years, retiring in 2002.
Robert enjoyed camping, traveling, and was a Ham radio operator. He also loved playing his bass guitar with friends.
He will be missed by his son, Lynn Barman; and four daughters, Pearl Barman and Timothy Williams, Lori and Dave Mata, Denise and Darell Mills, Susan Moellar; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Mae; parents; his son, Robert Barman, Jr.; a brother, Paul Barman; and a sister, Eleanor Klomp.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 14 at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with visitation starting at 11:00 am on Saturday. Burial will be Monday at 12:00 pm at the Butler County Memorial Park.
