Connie L. McDonough

She was born on January 5, 1934 to parents Crow and Lois Lohman Parham in Vera, Texas. Connie was one of eleven children.

She was married to the late Chares T. Hertel and then to the late Myles J. McDonough.

Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, stepmother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to many. She was a hairdresser in Jal, New Mexico and then in Midland for many years until she retired in 1980. She worked very hard and always had a smile. She appreciated her loyal customers. She was a very caring person and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Connie is survived by her brother, Sam Parham of Lamesa, Texas; sister, Louise Morgan of Odessa, Texas; Daughters, Faith Ann Auburg and husband Randy and Melanie Dawn Heaton all of Midland, Texas; stepson, Myles J. McDonough, Jr. and wife Kathy of Owasso, Oklahoma; grandchildren Jeff Donnell and wife Lesley of Midland, Texas, Kyle Auburg and wife Sarah of Montgomery, Texas and Ashley Auburg of Midland; great grandchildren, Jordyn Rodriguez and husband Chris of Odessa, Texas, Reese Donnell of Midland, Texas, Cole Donnell of Odessa, Texas, Caleb and Hayley Auburg of Montgomery, Texas and Fintan Auburg of Midland, Texas; great great granddaughter Harper and will have a great grandson who will be born in June.

There will be a visitation at Ellis Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
