Connie was born on March 9, 1926 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Hattie Gazell Morris and William Randolph Morris. Connie was the fifth of eight children. She met and married Harold Eugene “Gene” Thomas and they were married in Wichita Falls, Texas on February 26, 1955.
Connie’s parents, husband, and seven brothers and sisters, Kent, Byrl, Reece, Doyle, twins Frieda and Fred, and Edith preceded her in death.
Connie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Alan and Karen Morris of Midland, Texas; Chris Morris and Anais Nelson of Austin, Texas; Bill and Joanne Morris of League City, Texas; Geoffrey and Debbie Birkholz of Galveston, Texas: and Kevin Woodard of Kissimmee, Florida and, in addition, a large number of great nieces and nephews who will miss Connie.
There will be a graveside service for Connie at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas on Friday May 19, 2017 at 9:00 AM.
