Dan, a long time resident, grocery man and salesman, passed peacefully to his rest, Sunday, October 3, 2010 in Ft. Worth, TX. Dan was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Betty Harris, and his son Randy. He is survived by a large and loving family and extended family. His son, Dan, Jr; sisters, Kidy Lou and Betty Ruth; brother, Cecil; grandson, Justin; Stepsisters, Carol and Linda; stepson, Denny and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.The family will receive friends Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Ellis Funeral Home between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
