Davida June DeLozier

Davida June DeLozier, 64, of Midland passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013. She was born on April 21, 1948 to Julian Earl Wickham and Zetta June Myers Wickham in Wichita Falls. Davida graduated from Eunice High School in 1966. She moved to Midland in 1983, where she worked as a secretary at several local businesses. Davida was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She taught Bible classes and World Bible School. She enjoyed singing in the VBS productions at Fairmont Park Church of Christ. Davida’s joys included playing with her grand-daughters, watching Rangers and Rockhounds baseball, and reading.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Delozier of Midland, Brian and his wife Deidra Delozier of Midland; her daughter, Jennifer and husband Daniel Omusinde of Lawton, OK; as well as five grandchildren; her father, Julian “Wick” Wickham brother, Jeff and his wife Frankie Wickham of Midland; sister, Julie and her husband Jerry Hillard of Hobbs, NM and brother, David Wickham of Dallas.

A memorial service has been scheduled at 10:00am for Friday, March 22, 2013 at Fairmont Park Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Home Hospice of Midland or to the VBS fund at Fairmont Park Church of Christ. Online condolences may be offered at www.ellisfunerals.com
