Dorothy Davis Mashburn

Dorothy graduated from Stanton High School in 1944 and from Texas Tech with a BBA degree in 1948. She was employed in the Human Resources Department of Humble (now Exxon Mobil) until 1983, retiring as the Benefits Administrator for the Southwestern Division.

On March 27, 1952, Dorothy married Jimmie Warren Mashburn in Stanton, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie, her parents, her brothers Harold Davis and. Garnett Davis, her sister Seple Davis Orren, and two nephews Harold Glen Orren and Donald Keith Orren.

Dorothy is survived by four nieces: Marilyn Orren Owens of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Patricia Davis of Tucson, Arizona, Cynthia Davis of Arlington, Virginia, Mary Helen Davis of Lancaster, Pa. and one nephew: Steven Harold Davis of Webster, Texas.

Graveside services have been scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
