Goldie Gregory was born on September 28, 1915 and passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 in Midland. Goldie was the daughter of Myrtle Dee (Brown) and Joseph Herbert Ashcraft and was raised in Temple Texas and attended Abilene Christian College. She worked in the cafeteria at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa for many years. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Joseph Herbert Ashcraft Jr, and sons Erwin Layne Hendricks and Gerry Dwayne Hendricks. Goldie is survived by sons: George Edward Gill, John Robert Gill and Lawrence Wayne Gill, daughters; Patsy E. Stiles of Midland and Jo Lynn Williams of Odessa as well as a sister Martha Jean Townsend; her grandchildren; Craig Allen Stiles, Paul Woodrow Stiles, Kerri Jo Stiles and six other grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at Ellis Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
