Jerry Don Tredaway

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7th at Ellis Funeral Home located on Kansas Street in Midland From 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday March 8, 2019 at 9:30 am at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lamesa Highway in Midland.

Jerry was born on March 26, 1948 to Aaron Claude and Minnie Ola Lancaster Tredaway in Midland, Texas. He was one of 10 Tredaway children to graduate from Midland High School. He then attended college at Odessa Junior College. Jerry married Jackie Jo Kemper from Knott, Texas on February 10, 1970. Jerry and Jackie celebrated their 49th Anniversary this past February 10th.

Jerry was an accomplished welder for 45 years and spent 5 years in Indonesia Rain Forest and Kazakhstan in Central Asia.

Jerry coached pony league coaching his sons, Todd and Joe Don. He then spent his time following his grandchildren in their various sports activities. He loved watching Trevor play little league, Morgan play volleyball and Cheyenne play softball. He was a dedicated family man and supported his nieces and nephews every chance he could.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Aaron Claude & Minnie Ola Lancaster Tredaway and siblings, Joyce LaVern Tredaway; Marion Newton Tredaway, Ruby Helen Tredaway Pringle, Bonnie Ola Tredaway Mitchell, AC Tredaway, Jr and Dora Lee Tredaway Winkler.

Jerry is survived by wife, Jackie, sons, Todd Tredaway and wife Melinda and Joe Don Tredaway and grandchildren Trevor Tredaway, Morgan Tredaway and Cheyenne Tredaway. He is also survived by his Brother Reggie and wife Sondra Tredaway, sisters Francis & Bud Bush, Claudine & Roy Jones and Teresa Kiser. As well as brother in laws Gaylon Winkler & Ronnie Pringle and sister in law Julia Stone Tredaway and numerous nieces and nephews.
