Jo Anne S Stevenson Daugherty

Jo Anne was born on March 2, 1929 in Walters, Oklahoma to Jim and Sarah Jane Stevenson. She married Don Eugene Daugherty on December 26, 1949. They were married for 64 years. In her early years Jo Anne worked for the R.E. A., Texas Electric Company, and Atlantic Richfield Oil Company. After raising her children, Jo Anne cherished the time she spent caring for the health and well being of her extended family. She was a long time member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Jo Anne was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents, ber brothers Gilbert Eugene Stevenson, Bill Stevenson and wife Wilma, her sister Fern Stone and husband Al.

Let to cherish her memory is her husband of 64 years, Don Eugene Daugherty, her son Tracy Daugherty and wife Marjorie Sandor of Corvalis, Oregon, her daughter Debra Vetter and husband Charles of Midland, grandchildren Joseph Vetter and Hannah Crumb of Corvalis, Oregon and her extended family; Noel Gene and Doris Ann Rogers and family of San Antonio, Texas, J.C. Daugherty and wife Lois of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 19, 2013 from 6pm-8pm at Ellis Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Walters Cemetery in Walters, Oklahoma on Friday June 21, 2013 at 10am.
