As a skilled diesel mechanic, Joseph had a natural talent for working with his hands and a deep appreciation for how things worked. He found joy in fixing and building, whether it was working on vehicles, drawing, firing up the grill for some delicious BBQ, or settling in to play video games with his sons. Some of his happiest moments were spent laughing, relaxing, and simply being himself especially when hanging out with his twin brother.
Joseph is survived by his children, Krystin Aileen Rodriquez, Joseph Matthew Rodriquez Jr., Zachery Tyler Rodriquez, and Alexis Myshell Rodriquez, who were each an important part of his life. He is also survived by his beloved twin brother, Christopher Allen Rodriquez, and his sister, Amanda Michelle Dodd, with whom he shared lifelong bonds.
He will be remembered for his creativity, his hands-on spirit, and the love he carried for his family. Though life was not always easy, his presence, passions, and efforts left a lasting mark on those who knew him.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are his beloved family and friends: Joseph Matthew Rodriquez Jr., Zachery Tyler Rodriquez, Christopher Allen Rodriquez, Kelvin Calicutt, Donald Tyler Bentley, and Everett Lee Swinney.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10-12am with funeral services immediately following.
