Liz was born on September 19, 1935 in Lenorah, Texas, where she was raised.
She met the love of her life, Bob McCurdy in Stanton, Texas and they were married on April 3, 1954. They later moved to Greenwood in 1970 where they raised their 3 children. She spent most of her life as a stay at home mom and her children Rick McCurdy and his wife Janice of Luther, Oklahoma, Bud McCurdy and his wife Toni of Greenwood, and Elizabeth Chandler and her husband Andy of Greenwood, her 10 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grand Children will dearly miss her.
She loved her family, Elvis Presley, her dog Dolly Mae, gossip magazines, Publisher’s Clearing House and playing the card games Spite and Malice and Skip- Bo with her grandkids. Liz was a talented artist who loved to draw, Paint, and sing, as a young woman she sang professionally for a while with Hoyle Nix and his West Texas cowboys.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton, TX for family and friends on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 3:00PM.
