She passed away at the age of 85 on June 15, 2015.

Lorene is preceded in death by her husband Virgil Jones, 4 brothers and 10 sisters.
She is survived by her 6 sons and 3 daughters. Gene West and wife Donna of California. Donnie Dyke and wife Carolyn of Midland. Dolores Franks and Dennis Franks of East Texas. Hazal Lamar, Gary Dyke and wife Phyllis, David Dyke and wife Karen. Paula Lasley, Michael Dyke, and Charles Dyke all of Midland. She has many grandkids and great grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ellis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Bob Porterfield officiating.
Pall bearers will be Gary Dyke, Micheal Dyke, Donnie Dyke, Scott Dyke, David Dyke, and Davy Dyke.
