Ora Lee Poole passed away December 20, 2011 in Midland, Texas. She was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the Higher Praise Choir and worked with youth ushers. She was a member of Dorcas Circle Mission. She was a past member of the Heroines of Jericho Civic Club. She was employed by First National Bank for thirty seven and a half years. Mrs. Poole was a volunteer for RSVP for a number of years. She is survived by her only daughter, Kay Dunbar Turner of Midland, Texas; granddaughter, Rhashonda Dunbar of Houston, Texas, grandson, Luther Curtis Turner of Midland, Texas. Her extended family includes great-granddaughter, Rachelle Badger of Midland, Texas and a special aunt, Alberteen Johnson of Denver, Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Pate, father, Dem Donnelly; grandparents Elijah and Rachel Tate; husband Isom Poole. Services are scheduled for Friday December 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 303 East Shandon, Midland, Texas.
