Patricia Lucille Muehlhause Hightower

Lucille attended Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas and then went on to attend Austin College in Sherman, Texas.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Louis Muehlhause and Ava Lucile McElroy; her brother, Walter L. Muehlhause Jr.; her sisters Mary Yates, and Louise Brock; her son, Jeff Hightower; her son in law, Robin Barnett; and her grandson, Will Barnett.

Lucille is survived by her son, Jim Hightower and his wife Cheryl of Midland, Texas; her daughter, Julie Barnett; her grandsons, Max Hightower, Rob Barnett, and Matt Barnett; and her granddaughters, Mallory Hightower, Marci Hightower and her husband Gyu-yoon Bang.

Lucille grew up in San Antonio, Texas and lived most of her adult life in Midland, Texas. She was a homemaker, a secretary at Midland College and a charter member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bridge and time with family and friends. Lucille was always organized, considerate and thoughtful; she lived her life with love and care for all.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Manor Park, or charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Ellis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Ellis Funeral Home.
