Patricia Gail West Hodges

She was born January 30, 1940 in Grand Falls, Texas to Clifford G. and Lydia West. She graduated from Knott High School, Knott, Texas. She married Alvis Harlan Hodges on April 19, 1958. She worked at Powell Printing Company in Midland for over forty years. Pat loved to cook and sew and tend to her family. She doted on her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, along with her sisters Bernice Coats, Shirley Davis and Esther Davis. Survivors include two daughters, Becky (and husband Jerry) Vance of Lubbock, and Connie (and husband Lou) Faraldo of Houston and one son, James (and wife Kim) Hodges of Midland; seven grandchildren, Michael and Christy Vance of Lubbock, Brandon (and wife Becca), Taylor and Megan Hodges of Midland, and Daniel and Patrick Faraldo of Houston; one great granddaughter Amiee Hodges of Midland; and two brothers, James West of Comanche and George West of Coahoma; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 17 from 5:30-7:30 at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Crestview Baptist Church in Midland with Dr. John Gerlach officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park-North. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
