He was born October 2, 1947 to Clyde and Betty (Smith) Phillips in Odessa, TX.
He worked as a plant operator for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Gaila Osborne Phillips of Midland, sons, Niles Phillips of Midland, and Byron Phillips of Midland, daughters, Kerianna Phillips, and Taylor Phillips both of Midland, sister, Teresa Phillips of Odessa and four grandchildren.
Rosary will be 7pm Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Ellis Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Services are entrusted to Ellis Funeral Home.
