Ramona Murray Drickey

She was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Hitchcock, TX to Archie Dee and Buena Brasell Murray.

Ramona, known affectionately as “Mona” to her family and “ninny” to her nine grand children, thirteen great-grand children and one great-great grandchild.

Ramona loved her family, her church and many friends in Midland, TX where she resided for fifty years. Ramona was employed by Humble Oil Co. for fifteen years, working in Florey, Andrews, Hobbs and Midland.

Ramona was predeceased by her parents, brother, Archie Dee Murray, Jr., sisters, Charlene Scott and Virginia Johnson, daughter, Donna Morris Lopez and her loving husband of 39 years, Paul A. Drickey.

Ramona is survived by daughters, Debra Marszal and Dana Kimble, both of Midland, TX and grand children, Tammy Duniven (Kevin), Clint Alford (Bridget), James Maabadi, Stephen Marszal (Ashley), Julie Diaz( Carlos), Chris Morris (Carol), Paula Morris Toliver, Zane Kimble and Matthew Kimble ( Amber).

Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, 801 Andrews Highway Midland, TX 79701 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
