Rickey Gene Busbee

Rickey Gene Busbee, age 67, passed on July 4, 2021 in Knox City, TX. Rickey Gene was born on March 31, 1954 in San Antonio, TX, to parents Betty Joyce Davidson and Louis Waid Busbee. He married in July of 1976 and the couple had three children together.

Rickey Gene is survived by: three children; daughter, Sunney Johnson and her spouse Eric Johnson; son, Rickey D. Busbee and his spouse Dawn Busbee; son, Lewis Busbee; six grandchildren KayleeBusbee, Bailey Johnson, Ashlyn Johnson, Greyson Busbee, Sarah Johnson and Ellie Busbee; and siblings Judy Luster, Sherry McCarty, Sharla Ackerman, Drew Busbee and Jerry Busbee.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and granddaughter Carra Dawn Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on Friday, July 9, 2021, funeral services will be held 9am on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Both services will be held at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland.
