Robert L. Stock

Robert L. Stock went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 22, 2010. He was born on July 10, 1943 to Henry and Lydia Stock in San Angelo, Texas. He was raised and educated in Menard, Texas. Robert married Emma Ruth Gault July 17, 1965 in Midland, Texas. Robert was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He worked for Ref-Chem in Odessa, Texas for forty-four years. He started out there as a pipe fitter, and worked his way up to foreman, maintance superintendent and then construction superintendent. Robert enjoyed gardening, NASCAR, football, and raising live stock. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Virginia Mae Castleman. Robert is survived by his wife, Emma Ruth Stock of Midland, TX; two sons, David Lynn Stock of Placid, TX; Alton Henry and wife Rhonda Kay Stock of Odessa, TX; one granddaughter, AshLynn Rene Stock of Odessa, TX; one sister, Imogene Stock of Brownwood, TX; and numerous nephews and nieces as well as his companion and best friend Princess Blue. The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Saturday, April 24, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church with Reverend Robert J. Pase officiating. Interment will follow at Western Rose Memorial Park.
