Sandra Mae Krause

Sandra was born to James Pierce Miller and Georgia Gordean Tunnell Miller on March 09, 1943 in San Jose California where her father was a Welder in the ship yards during WWII. Her Grandparents were long time Martin County residents Gordon and Eula Tunnell. Sandra came to Martin County Texas in late 1944, and started school at Valley View until 1951. She finished grade school at Grady. She moved from the Valley View Community to Stanton in November of 1956 where she attended the Stanton School system until graduation.

She married Johnny Charles Krause on February 28, 1972. They moved to Midland in 1976.

Sandra was a member of the West Side Church of Christ which she attended until her health prevented her from attending. Sandra moved to Manor Park in 2012 where she made many new friends. She loved being involved in the activities, especially bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Krause in 2001, her father Jim Miller in 1996, and her mother Gordean Miller in 2003.

Sandra is survived by a daughter Teresa Sapp, son-in-law Troy Sapp and one granddaughter Ashley Sapp; three brothers, Merle Miller and wife Lucy, Jim Miller and wife Reba Kay, John Miller and wife Lynn, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.

There will be a Visitation at Ellis Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton, Texas.
