Stephen G Pendleton

Stephen Gene “Moose” Pendleton, 62, of Midland, TX passed peacefully in his sleep on October 27, 2015. Stephen was born in Odessa, TX on November 24, 1952. He grew up in Crane, TX where he graduated from Crane High School in 1971. He later went on to play football for Barry Switzer at University of Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from San Angelo State University in 1975. Steve began his career in sales shortly after and retired after spending 24 years with Petroplex Acidizing in Midland, TX.

Stephen was a fun-loving spirit who lived life to the fullest. He was an avid sports fan and a huge music fan. His infectious laughter filled a room and he adored his friends and family. Stephen never met a stranger and he had an enormous heart.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father Buster Gene Pendleton of Burkburnett, TX and son Russell Gene Pendleton of Dallas, TX.

Stephen is survived by; his wife Shirley Pendleton of Midland, TX; daughter Stacy Sandel and her husband Jason Sandel of Farmington, NM; daughter Jennifer Torigoe and her husband Gordon Torigoe of Vista, CA; stepdaughter Allison Rose and her husband Shane Huffman of Midland, TX; granddaughters Natalie Rose of Midland, TX, Kathryn Richter of Midland, TX, Stella Sandel of Farmington, NM, and Kylee Edwards of Vista, CA; grandson Jasper Sandel of Farmington, NM; mother Golda Waleska Pendleton of Coppell, TX; brother Richard Pendleton and his wife Antoinette Pendleton of Houston, TX; sister Cynthia Scortio and her husband Tony Scortio of Rockwall, TX; nieces Caroline Pendleton of Houston, TX and Kathryn Pendleton of Dallas, TX; and nephew Joshua Hudson of Washington, D.C.

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Ellis Funeral Home, located at 801 Andrews Highway, Midland TX 79707. A Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Kelview Heights Baptist Church, located at 402 W Scharbauer Dr, Midland, TX 79705.
