Virginia Lee Long Otho

Virginia Lee (Long) Otho of Midland, Texas passed away on Monday July 16, 2012. She was born February 9, 1932 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Troy and Stella Long. She moved to Midland, Texas with her parents and graduated from Midland High School. Virginia married Oscar Otho on March 16, 1951 in Midland. Virginia worked for Forest Oil as a draftsperson for 24 years. Before that she worked for Conoco.

Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed watching her family in all of the activities tin which they participated.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Otho; her son Jimmy and wife Jan; her daughter Terri Folger and husband Paul. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Casey Otho and wife Catherine; Michael Otho and wife Amy; Ryan Folger and Jorden Folger, and great-grandchildren Max Otho, Ben Otho, and Berkley Otho.

The family would like to thank the loving caregivers that took such good care of Virginia.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ellis Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:00am at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Casey Otho, Michael Otho, Ryan Folger, Paul Folger, Gene Jumper, and Jimmy Jumper. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
