Wilbert Henry Holub

Wilbert Holub passed away Monday, June 21, 2010. He was born July 12, 1927 Palo Pinto County Texas to Henry and Julie Holub. On October 30, 1954 he married Valencia Jarrett in Strawn, Texas. Wilbert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for two years and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for El Paso Natural Gas as an electrician for 33 years. Wilbert enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, fishing, frying fish and eating BBQ. He is survived by his wife, Valencia Holub of Midland, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Charlotte Holub of Austin, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Roger Farrington of Midland, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Agnes and Billy Joe Fulfer of Gordon, TX. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Michael Farrington and his wife, Jennifer, and Michelle Aly and her husband, Chad, and two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Caleb. The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
