Ann C. Adams, 94, formerly of Midlothian, Virginia, and daughter of Elkana and Carrie Cox, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edd Adams. She is survived by her children Suzanne Disse her husband Tom, Dennie McDonald and wife Rita, Tina Talley and husband Richard, and Amanda Johnson, and husband Marty, step daughter Carolyn Orcutt and husband Tommy. Ann was grandmother to Heather Disse, Joanna McDonald, Chrissy Moore, Amanda Moore, Charlotte Lindberg and Caleb Johnson. She leaves behind many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ann grew up in Gordonsville, Virginia and attended Ferrum and Longwood Colleges. She worked for Wilson Trucking in Richmond for many years, and it was there she and her husband of 36 years Edd were introduced. Ann lived in Louisa, Richmond and Midlothian before moving to Knoxville, Tennessee after Edd’s passing. There she lived with her daughter Suzanne and her family for many happy years. Ann was very creative. She was an exceptional cook, she enjoyed needlework, drawing and even creating her own political cartoons. She loved politics and could debate facts with the best. Her curiosity kept her mind sharp and her family laughing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and will be greatly missed. "In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.
