Anselmo Enriquez Tabadero Sr.

On Friday, September 27, 2019, Anselmo “Ebog” Tabadero, Sr., loving husband and father of eight children, passed away at age 75.

Ebog was born on March 12, 1944 in Ma-Tolong, Manaoag, Pangasinan, Philippines to Susana and Teofilo Tabadero. He was an automotive mechanic by profession, a farmer, handyman and a public servant. He served as Barangay Captain in his beloved birthplace for twelve years from 1980 and continued on in the community in his personal capacity until he moved to the United States to join his wife and daughter.

Ebog was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 50 years Marcelina; his siblings, Eduardo, Susan, Gavino, Gilberto and Digna; his children, Antonio (Nene), Glafira (Paul), Isabel (Ronnie), Anselmo Jr (Cristina), Lemura (Lyndon), Flordeluna (Zander), Alexander (Florence Gay), Arnaldo; and his grandchildren, Dan Bryan, Dana Mikaela, Diana Jane, David, Rob Poncy, Ryan Albert, Ace Joseph, Jericho, Albert, Amber, Lyra, Zandrolf Kyle, Xander Gabriel, and Arpert Lee.

A viewing and reception will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Woody Funeral Home, Huguenot Chapel located at 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113 between 5:00 and 8:00 in the evening. A memorial and burial of the ashes will take place at his birthplace sometime next year.
