Ardis Piel Florstedt

FLORSTEDT, Ardis Piel, 96, of Midlothian, Virginia, passed away on May 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Luther C. Florstedt and is survived by her three children: Candace F. Coppola (Joseph) of Midlothian, Virginia; Peter C. Florstedt of San Marino, California; and Melissa F. Korwan (Steven) of Marietta, Georgia. In addition she leaves behind six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife and mother as well as an excellent elementary teacher. In her later years, she renewed here passion for art by creating many memorable water color paintings. The family would like to express their thanks to Southerland Place Assisted Living and Hospice Community Care for their wonderful care. A graveside service for the immediate family will take place on Thursday, May 15, at 1:00 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg, Virginia.
