Barbara Dianne Lovell

LOVELL, Barbara Dianne, 74, of Richmond, died September 13, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Lovell; and her parents, Von Thaddeus Myers and Nell Kathleen Coffman. Survivors include her sons, Michael Lee Lovell of Richmond, Timothy B. Lovell and his wife, Jeana M. Lovell, of Connecticut; two loving grandchildren, Kristen N. Lovell and Kenneth R. Lovell, both of Connecticut; and one brother, Donald P. Myers of Colorado.

Mrs. Lovell was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and was an avid genealogist. She worked for and volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America (California Inland Empire Council) in Redlands, California. Mrs. Lovell was also a member of the Chesterfield Senior Center, where she was the past treasurer, and member of Bon Air United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She was a breast cancer survivor and the most gentle, kind, giving and selfless woman, always willing to help other people in need. Her laughter was infectious.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Bon Air United Methodist Church, 1645 Buford Road. Inurnment will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at a later date.
