McCANN, Beverly Marshall, age 69, of Richmond, died Saturday, January 15, 2011, at her home. Survivors include her husband, The Reverend Dr. Thomas R. McCann with whom she was a partner in ministry for 30 years; her mother, Mary Frances Marshall of Chesterfield, Va.; two sisters: Cynthia Davis of Glen Allen, Va. and Judith Dyer of Chesterfield, Va., a daughter, Jane McCann Wiseman of Conover, N.C.; and two sons, Thomas Scott McCann of Greenville, N.C. and Stephen Kirk McCann, of Greensboro, N.C. She had five grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Tuesday, January 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, at 11 a.m. at Winfree Memorial Baptist Church, 13617 Midlothian Turnpike. Interment will follow at Branch’s Baptist Church, 3400 Broad Rock Boulevard at 1 p.m. Dr. David Benjamin and Dr. Myron “Mike” Weaver will officiate. No procession to cemetery.
