Dana Courtney Hines left the cares of this world behind on Saturday, September 7, 2013. Dana was born July 11, 1975 to Margaret (Marty) Taylor Hines and the late Anthony Loftis Hines. She graduated from Monacan High School and VCU, and received a Doctor of Pharmacology Degree from MCV. She was employed by Walgreens as a pharmacist at the time of her death. In addition to her mother, Dana is survived by three sisters, Kimberly Chafin, Sharon Bodtke and Shannon Coleman; three brothers, Lamar, Darren and Ryan Hines; seven nieces and nephews, Morgan and Michael Chafin, Sierra and Hayden Hines, Austin and Justin Bodtke, and Dylan Coleman. She was predeceased by a triplet sister, Denise Hines.
A celebration of life service will be held at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church on Friday, September 13th, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, 1100 Mt. Pisgah Dr., Midlothian, VA 23113.
