Daniel Kelly

Daniel “Danny” Kelly, 54, of Richmond Virginia passed away earlier this month. He is preceded in death by both of his parents Tom and Kay Kelly, two older brother’s Kevin and Timmy Kelly, as well as his special cousin Peggy Harty Cates. Danny is survived by his older brother Tommy Kelly (Carolyn) and his two sisters Kathleen Kelly (Marek) and Patti Kelly (Phil) and younger brother Steve Kelly as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Danny was educated through Chesterfield County Schools and graduated from Midlothian High School. He later joined the Army and rose to the rank of Specialist 4. After his military career, Danny worked for the Virginia Correctional System. He later took a number of college courses as he aspired to move into HealthCare as a career. Danny was also a dog lover. His beloved Bailey and Dixie are strolling along beside him. In addition to his commitment to the Veterans , Danny was also member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 13170 and an avid sports fan.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday April 24th @ 1 p.m. at St. Edward’s Catholic Church 2700 Dolfield Drive North Chesterfield, Virginia 23235. Family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to Knights of Columbus #13170 in care of St. Gabriel Church Chesterfield, Va. 23832. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
