David Martin Grady

David M. Grady, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 16, 2022, surrounded by loved ones and has joined his savior, Jesus Christ. He was born in Washington, DC to Robert and Madeleine Grady on February 18, 1960. He is survived by his wife Brenda and his children Jordan Grady and Kayla Cutler (Kyle) both of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by his father Robert Grady of Amissville, VA, 2 sisters Cecilia Lawson (Steven) of Amissville, VA and Diane Ross (Michael) of Leander, TX, and 2 brothers William of Marietta, GA and Brian (April) of Lexington, VA, and by 2 stepchildren from a first marriage and Brenda's 3 children, as well as granddaughters Mila and Sloane and grandson Hayes. He leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and 2 great-great nieces. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis, and his mother, Madeleine.

David attended Brentsville District High School in Nokesville, VA and Radford University. He went on to have a life-long career with EDS that merged with Hewlett-Packard that was then spun-off into DXC Technology. In 2019 he semi-retired, but continued working doing home improvement work and always had a project going at home. He loved being busy and working outdoors.

His family would like to thank his friends and church family for all of their prayers and compassion during this extremely difficult time.

A funeral service will be held at Heights Church, 12440 Gayton Road, Richmond, VA 23238 on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
