David Francis O’Donnell, 83, of Midlothian, Virginia, passed away on March 2, 2026.
David was born on August 5th, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He honorably served in the United States Military during the Vietnam War and later continued his long career as a Building Manager for the United States Government. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Constance Loretta O’Donnell. He is survived by his three children: David O’Donnell Jr. (Karla) of Chesterfield, VA, Daniel O’Donnell (Stephanie) of St. Augustine, FL, and Tammy Diorio of Key West, FL. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Kalie Hadlow, Emory O’Donnell, Ellie O’Donnell, and Rylan O’Donnell, and his great-granddaughter, Lily Jean Hadlow.
Friends will be received at Woody Funeral Home, located at 1020 Huguenot Rd., Midlothian, VA 23113, on Tuesday, March 24th from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward Catholic Church, located at 2700 Dolfield Drive, North Chesterfield, VA 23235, on Wednesday, March 25th at 1:00pm.
David will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew him.
