To all our family and friends, on behalf of my mom, sister and brother (and our extended family members), I would like to thank you all for sharing your memories of my Dad. The outpouring of love and prayers have been overwhelming. Though Dad's life was full, it was too short. We are blessed to have had him in ours.

I am very sorry for your loss. Dave was always one of my best friends, I will miss him very much. Dave and I were tennis partners in high school, I could always count on David helping me when I needed a partner and good friend. Dave was always ready to help when needed. We have been privilaged to know the Serfozo family for over 30 years. We have shared good times and bad. Our families have very close emotional ties in spite of the great physical distance between us. We are suffering through the loss of this very dear friend. We are so grateful that we have had the opportunity to know this wonderful family and have them be a part of our lives. Like Ron Longoria, I was on the tennis team at AKHS with Dave. But that doesn't quite say it we were on the courts in Oakwood Park 8 hours a day from 1962-1965. With Jim Szekeres and Dave Kuhn we became the team in 1963. Dave was a good player and a great doubles partner. I knew Dave even earlier when we played little league baseball for Meyer Goldbergs in Lorain. Again Dave was a pitcher with a good arm. Dave and I bought Honda SL350 (about 1970)dirt bikes and used to ride together off the road where ever we could find access. Always competitive, Dave was an even better friend. My condolences to the entire Serfozo
family.

I've worked with Dave most of my 30 years on the railroad. I enjoyed his company, conversation, and spirit. Dave and I, shared an inside joke that I have missed since his retirement. Since hearing of his passing I must say I miss it all the more. My condolences and prayers are with the Serfozo family.

   You have my sincere condolences and your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
   I always enjoyed talking about the Indians with Dave and remember one year he and I listening to a playoff game on his portable radio on the engine.  I will always think of him when I cheer on the Tribe.

We are all saddended by Dave's sudden passing.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Serfozo family.  It was an honor and great pleasure to have Dave in our lives as a co-worker and friend.  He always kept us safe out on the railroad and made sure we always made it home to our families.

I worked with Dave for over 13 years.  He was one of my favorite, always did a great job & took pride in his work.  As we were both Buckeye fans, we had many discussions about the Bucks as well as baseball.  I never could convert him to pulling for the Reds, though.

I was shocked when I learned of his passing.  I'm very sorry for your loss.  I will miss him.

Sorry for everyone's loss.  Dave was a very good friend as well as a coworker.  I was able to work with him for 7 years before he retired and have never seen him unhappy.  I will keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers.
