Wimmer, David Lewis, 49, a licensed respiratory therapist, of Bon Air, widower of Vivian J. Wimmer, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2011. He is survived by is parents, William L. and Pauline Wimmer; two sisters, Pamela Digges and her husband, Thomas, of Manassas, Susan Wimmer and her husband, Joe Abbott, of Chesterfield; brother, William Wimmer and his wife, Brenda of Montpelier; a second cousin, T.R. Cloy and his wife, Barbara, of Hattiesberg, Miss.; two nieces , three nephews, three great-nieces, one great-nephew and many other family and friends; and his dog, Sheila. David will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched. He was a member of Bon Air Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. Interment private. Online condolences may be made at: woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com.
