Deborah Elizabeth (Eckler) Williford received her angel wings on October 13, 2018. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Dave, her mother Nancy W. Eckler, sisters Barbara E. Gross (Shawn) and Kathleen M. McClure, brothers John F. Eckler and J. Michael Eckler (Rachel), nephews James E. Gross and Charlie Holloway, and nieces Rachael, Sarah and Lauren McClure and Charlotte Holloway, Doug Williford (brother in law), and Charles Williford (father in law).
Debbie was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Mary Washington and attended Eastern Virginia Medical School. She will be remembered as the world’s most doting dog owner, caring soul, and really terrific Christmas cookie baker. May she rest in long-awaited peace.
The family would like to thank HCA Health Care for their grace, patience and fortitude over the years in caring for their wife, sister and daughter.
The family will receive friends Thursday October 18th from 6-8 PM at the Huguenot Chapel Woody Funeral Home at 1020 Huguenot Road Midlothian, VA. Funeral mass will take place October 19, 2018 at 12:00 noon at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with a reception to follow. Burial will be private.
