

Dorothy S. Kelly, 84, passed into His loving arms and joined her beloved husband, Bill Kelly, on February 24, 2016 surrounded by family. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory, her daughters Suzanne Kelly Pallotta, Marcia Kelly Brunner (Jody), and sons Jeff and Joe (Teresa); six grandchildren, Nick Pallotta (Morgan), Kristen Pallotta Moore (Ryan), Jennifer Brunner Roussell (Jared), Melissa Brunner, Kelly Brunner Martin (Frank), and Joey Kelly; and 5 great-grandchildren, Kylie and Jessica Roussell, Blake Moore, Savannah Kelly, and Hunter Escamilla. Dot is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Peggy McRae and Arlene Seyller, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Katy Marr (Jim), Virginia Bradford (Jack), and her brother A.J. Seyller.
Dot was born on January 18, 1932 in Louisville, KY. She worked at Brown and Williamson until she met Bill, a soldier at Ft. Knox. They married in 1953 and moved to Richmond, VA in 1959. Dot was very involved in her church, St. Edwards. She was an avid golfer, and a longtime member of Salisbury Country Club, where they have many dear friends.
Her last five years, she called Spring Arbor of Salisbury home, where, as she said, they spoiled her every day. She is loved by so many and is already dearly missed by all. We want to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to Spring Arbor of Salisbury and At Home Care Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
Her remains rest at Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 6-8pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 10:30am at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 2700 Dolfield Drive. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to At Home Care Hospice.
