Elaine Wallace Carr

CARR, Elaine W., 60, of Midlothian, died May 20, 2012. Survivors include her husband, C. Reid Carr; daughter, Caroline Carr Brescia and her husband, Bob; son, Benjamin Chadwick Carr; sister, Dianna Wallace Haile; five grandchildren, Cassidy, Carleigh, Christy, Robert and Reid; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Elaine was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed volunteering with many activities, playing Bridge, spending time at the beach and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking and sporting events, especially Virginia Tech. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, and where a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday.
