Elaine June Rheinwald Sheehan

SHEEHAN, Elaine June Rheinwald , born June 1, 1930, in Rochester, New York, Elaine departed this life at home on October 4, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Albert Rheinwald, and her husband, Robert L. Sheehan. She is survived by her three children, Robert Sheehan of Atlanta (Patricia), Colleen Harland of Richmond (Aidan), and Valerie Sheehan of Vero Beach, Florida; her four grandchildren, Patrick Sheehan of Atlanta (Wendy), Diana Harland of Richmond (Barry O’Keefe), Paige Harland of DC, and Robert Harland of Richmond; two great-grandchildren, Ryder Sheehan and Colbie Sheehan of Atlanta; and her cousins Robert Rheinwald (Shirley), Diane Uthe Crain (Douglas, dec.), and Dwight Uthe (Susan). After graduating from Irondequoit High School, Elaine met her husband Bob while attending the University of Miami (FL). Elaine and Bob were enthusiastic boaters during their time living in Clinton & Essex, Connecticut, and enjoyed touring the Connecticut River, Block Island and Long Island Sound, with Elaine acting as navigator and Bob as captain. They were active members of the Clinton Country Club and the Menunketesuck Yacht Club. Elaine loved playing bridge and having the girls over for a weekly game. She and Bob were avid golfers and enjoyed their time living in Vero Beach, Florida, upon retirement, and were active members of the Vero Beach Country Club.
