George W. (Bill) Williamson, 82 of Richmond, passed away August 24, 2015. He was retired employee of AT&T after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley Burton Williamson, and sister; Patricia VanAustin. Bill is survived by his wife; Mary Rose Maynard, Daughter; Elizabeth Williamson, son; Burt Williamson, 2 stepdaughters; Ava Patterson and her husband Michael, Ruth Sullivan, stepson; Jeff Maynard and wife Cindy. Mother; Edith Davis Winney, brother; Ronald Williamson and wife Delores, 7 step grandchildren, and 4 step great granddaughters. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a 50 year member of Bon Air Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 pm at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home 1020 Huguenot Road and where Funeral services will be held Friday August 28 at 2 pm interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
