

LEWIS, Jack Wesley “Happy Jack”, 83, of Midlothian, died April 20, 2012, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Survivors include his wife, Eloise H. Lewis; two sons, Kent W. Lewis and his wife Barbara and Bruce K. Lewis and his wife, Patricia; three grandchildren, Ashleigh Gajewski and her husband Joe, Amber Lewis and Tyler Lewis.
Mr. Lewis attended Bliss Electrical Engineering School. He worked 40 years for Dominion Virginia Power retiring June 1, 1988 as Manager of Corporate Safety. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served as an M.P. in Japan. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf and always kept a positive attitude. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father and granddaddy.
The family will receive friends at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Salisbury Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Parkinson’s Foundation of the National Capital Area or to Salisbury Presbyterian Church.
