Carpenter, Lt. Commander James (Jim) departed this life on February 27, 2015. He was joined by his wife, Natalie Greene Carpenter on March 8, 2015. They are survived by their daughter, Colleen Pinto Simon (Rev. Donna J. Simon), former son-in-law, Phillip K. Barranger, and grandsons, Patrick K. Barranger (Alyx) of Sunnyvale CA. and Connor P. Barranger of Richmond.
Funeral services will be held at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2PM with a private interment to follow.
