James leaves behind a sister, Sally Bird, and his Southminster Presbyterian Church family that were privileged to know him.
Jim was born on December 21, 1930 in Sabattus, Maine. He attended Colby College in Waterville, where he played football and baseball. He served in the U. S. Army, and ended his many years of employment at Bank of America. Jim will always be remembered for embracing everyone he met as a friend, his beautiful bass voice, and love for golfing.
A memorial service for both Jim and Ada will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church at a future date.
