Janet Marie Petty Fink

Janet Marie Petty FinkFINK, Janet Marie Petty, 72, of Richmond, formerly of Petersburg, went to be with the Lord October 13, 2009. She battled her brain tumor the same way she lived her life, with dignity, grace and faithfulness to the Lord. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald L. Fink; her three children, Mark Fink and his wife, Dani and their three children, Michael, Cameron and Blayne; Brian Fink and his wife, Theresa and their children, Kendyl, Reagan and Dakota; and Lynne Fink Meredith and her children, Hunter and Tucker. She will also be missed by her many cousins, other family and friends whose lives she touched. She was an active member of Bon Air Baptist Church for 36 years. A special thanks from the family to the ladies of Bon Air Baptist Church, the staff of Sunrise and visiting angels for the special love and care given to Janet for the past seven months. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Private graveside service will be held Friday in Blandford Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Friday at 12 noon at Bon Air Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bon Air Baptist Church Library Expansion Fund.
