Ji Sang Jung

He is preceded in death by his father Duk Jo Jung and his mother Dae Dal Lee.

Ji Sang is survived by his wife, Sung Bun Jung; his daughter Hyang Sook Park (husband, Ill Kwon Park); His eldest son Chang Jung (wife, Moonsun Jung), and his youngest son Sung W. Jung (wife, Rachelle Jung); His grandchildren Gloria Park, Helen Newell (husband, Brad Newell), Norman Park, Justin Jung, Julia Jung, Emily Jung, and Evan Jung; As well as his great grandchildren Gemma and Olivia “Liv” Newell.

Ji Sang loved his Korean Church, gardening, and was an avid golfer. Ji Sang was a proud member of the Lord Jesus Korean Church. He spent many hours helping at his church as the congregation and physical blueprint of the church grew. His favorite hobby was golf. He enjoyed his time on the golf course with his friends. He participated in many of the Church and Korean business merchants sponsored golf tournaments over the years, winning several of the tournaments. He belonged to multiple different golf clubs in the Richmond Area and used golf as a form of exercise and would try to play at least three times a week.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, at 6PM for a memorial service at the Lord Jesus Korean Church at 10201 Robious Road, Richmond, Virginia, 23235. There will be a reception at the church immediately following the service.
