Joan Lois Cyr Perry

Joan Lois (Cyr) Perry August 15 1946 to March 7 2016. 69 years. She is survived by her husband, 0f 47 years, Vance A. Perry, Sr., as well as her sons, Vance, Jr. "Skip" Perry, and his wife Alison of Karns city, Pennsylvania, and Craig Perry, and his wife Lacey, of Winchester, Virginia, along with six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by three brothers, Peter Cyr of Athens, Maine, Regan Cyr of Hamlin, Maine and Arnold Cyr of Clermont, Florida and three sisters, Mary Ruth and her husband Richard Nichols of Fort Fairfield, Maine, Nora and her husband Richard Linkletter of Embden pond, Maine, and Pamela Soucy of Mountaintop, Pennsylvania. Her best friend, Tobi Czumak of Palm Coast, Florida was like a fourth sister to Joan as well as Patty Samuels of Midlothian, Virginia, a fifth sister.

Joan passed in her sleep with heart failure after an extended battle with pancreatic cancer. Joan was active with a bowling league, and two bridge groups. As a member of St Edwards Knights Of Columbus auxiliary, she helped with many projects. Joan retired as a full vice president of a national bank to attend to her grandchildren. The grandchildren gave her many pleasures. Joan stated that grandchildren were more fun than children.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 12 at the Huguenot Chapel Woody Funeral Home 1020 Huguenot Road from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and where funeral service will be held Sunday March 13, at 2 pm.
