CULLINGS, Joseph DuShane , 88, of Midlothian, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa., died November 19, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Lena Evelyn Cullings. Survivors include his daughters, Ellen Pemberton and her husband, Bob, and Nancy Spencer and her husband, Sid; grandchildren, Joshua Pemberton and Amy Spencer; and his sister, Frances Dailey. Mr. Cullings was a U.S. Navy veteran and was an active member of his local Lion’s Club. He retired from General Motors with over 30 years of service. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Lion’s Club.
