HUBBARD, Joseph Walker, age 90, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 31, 2017. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Wesley Kennedy. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Janet C. Hubbard; daughters, Wanda Shumate (Tom), Sandra Patterson and Karin Hardiman; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Walker was a WWII veteran having served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps. He retired from the trucking industry. He was a loving husband and father. He was a very humble, honest and a good friend to many. Family will receive friends at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., Midlothian, Va., from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017.
