LANG, Joseph Clyde "J.C.," age 63, of Richmond, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at his home. He was born April 7, 1947 to the late Joseph Park and Daisy Bell Dickerson Lang. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Vaden Lang. J.C. was a former employee of Philip-Morris, where he retired after 26 years of service as a R&D Technician. J.C. will be remembered for his sense of humor, generous spirit, gift of gab and love of music. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jay Nathan and Lisa Lang; a grandson, Jay Paul Lang; his sister, Jean Childress; nephew, Anthony Derby; niece, Danielle Derby; as well as a host of close friends from St. David's Episcopal Church, all of Richmond.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at St. David's Episcopal Church, 1801 Camborne Road, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond SPCA.
