Katherine Helen Swift

SWIFT, Katherine Helen (nee Wagner), born September 26, 1918, died February 13, 2010. Kay passed away peacefully at home at the age of 91 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl; and her precious grandson, Michael Taub. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Susan (Thomas) Coseo, Kathleen (Dan) Bizek, Christine Cole and Elaine Taub (Stan Bishop); grandchildren, Mary Coseo (Joe Folino), Anne (Chuck) Askerneese, Paul Coseo (Wes Waggner), Katie Coseo (Tom Lyke), Mark Bizek (Heather McLean), Gary Bizek, Jennifer (John) Veech, Brian Cole, Brandon (Sara) Creekmore, Tonya (Angelo) Ricci and Graham Taub; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Kingston and Nia Askerneese, Max Bizek-McLean, Owen Veech, Cooper Cole, Emma Ricci and Chloe Creekmore.

Kay was born in St. Albans, Vermont, and after marrying Earl and starting a family, they moved frequently throughout Canada and the United States, then finally to Richmond, Virginia, where they enjoyed many happy years of retirement with their wonderful friends. Our terrific Mom/ Grandma/Great-Grandma lived her life with laughter and fun and she loved us all, as we did her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with inurnment to immediately follow at Dale Memorial Park.
