JENKINS, KENNETH LEE, 85, of Richmond, formerly of Falls Church, VA and Murrells Inlet, SC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Faith Japhet Jenkins, parents Clarence Lee and Mary Kube Jenkins, and granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Barto. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Barto (Ronald) of Midlothian and Teri Morrison (Thomas) of Victorville, CA, his son Kenneth Ray Jenkins of Falls Church, VA and six grandchildren, Ryan (Theresa), Scott, and Bradley Barto and Katherine, Benjamin, and Abigail Morrison. Ken attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, graduated from American University, and worked for the Federal Government as an accountant for 30 years. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the same location. A graveside service will be held at Columbia Gardens, Arlington, VA at a later date.
